Why I Gym Everyday + Fitness Goals
Staying fit is a very important factor in your day to day life. Especially if you are someone that works long hours, handles a lot of different things and carries pressure with it. Going to the gym on a daily basis will not only boost your performance physically, but mentally too.
Training clears your mind, makes you think and reflect as well as conjure up new ideas. For me, going to the gym daily doesn’t feel like a chore, it’s part of my lifestyle. I feel bad when I need to miss sessions over work or any other appointments that I might have. Training on a daily basis gives me a sense of calmness, relaxation, boosts my thinking patterns and the only competition I have in front of me is myself.
When I left school I weighed in at 71kg, being very thin for someone that is 6FT, 3inches. It was due to the fact that I was hospitalized in early 2010 and because I was working non stop and not sleeping a lot. I made the decision that I needed to get back into shape and at the end of 2010 I was clocking the scale at 85kg. I picked up 14kg that year which was a lot of muscle and some fat, but good fat.
In 2011 training was part of my daily routine and up until today I have tried to keep it part of my lifestyle. Currently weighing in at 90kg, I keep a balanced weight and try to eat healthy, don’t get sick very often and always have energy even though I only sleep 5-6 hours per night.
Training daily has enabled me to solve problems, manage my time better and start new companies by giving me time to think. I can’t go without it… It’s for my personal benefit of staying healthy and fit.
