I love it when I stumble across people that share the same vision as I do. It makes doing what I’m doing just so much more rewarding. When I first noticed Matt McWilliams, an article of his ended up on my twitter feed and I immediately took a liking to his style of writing and the message he was pushing out to the world.

I asked Matt to join me on the show to speak about how he got fired four times and ended up making a success of himself even though the odds were stacked against him.

Get this, he even got fired by his own dad!! What?

In this episode, Matt and myself talk about his journey and how he got into the consulting space, how he realized what he wanted to do with his life and how the World Changer tag stuck with him. When Matt isn’t busy consulting, he is writing, podcasting, spreading the good news or spending time with his wife and daughter.

Matt runs his blog that he updates daily with fresh content. This content includes articles, guides, ebooks and his recently launched podcast called, The World Changer Show. He already has some awesome guests on-board and I’m really excited to see who he brings on next. Apart from the newly launched podcast, Matt’s content is motivating, always assessing a situation or problem and inspires thousands of people.

More about Matt McWilliams

I pulled the excerpt below from Matt’s about page.

I am a world changer.

Now before you think I’m an egotistical, too-big-for-my-britches, jerk, I think we are all world changers. If we weren’t born to change the world, we’re unnecessary. I am a world changer. And so are you.

In a nutshell, I arrived at my world changer philosophy after being fired four times (twice by the same company and once by own dad…just try to top that!), after facing 42 years in prison, after starting two companies that rose and fell like the Roman Empire…and finally realizing my true purpose in life.

If you have a minute, head over to Matt’s World Changer Store and grab yourself a t-shirt. You’re a world changer! Claim it!

This is the third episode on the podcast and I’ve finally submitted the show to Stitcher. Itunes will only be live by the fifth episode and that will be early next week. I want to launch on Itunes with at least five episodes as I want to capitalize on the platform with as much early on content as possible.
